Rob Dyrdek Net Worth 2014 – 2015: $22 Million
Rob Dyrdek is a professional skateboarder who’s made a lot of money as a reality television star, entrepreneur, and tv host. Honestly, I have never seen Dyrdek on a skateboard before, but I’m sure that he must have been or is really good, because he’s been sponsored by several big brand names such as Alien Workshop, Silver Trucks, Monster Energy, and DC Shoes. Big sponsors mean big money, as well as extra exposure, however, the reason why I actually know who Rob is, is simply because he has been and currently is the host of one of the only few shows that are still worth watching on MTV, you may have seen it before, it’s called “Ridiculousness”, and honestly it ain’t even that good. I mean the videos are, but Rob just isn’t as funny as I would like him to be, don’t get me wrong though, I’m not trying to diss him or anything like that, he can be really funny at times, but you have to admit that he’s no Daniel Tosh.
Apart from setting several Guinness World Records, 21 to be more precise, Dyrdek has also been able to set up several successful businesses which have allowed him to become a very wealthy man. You can notice by the way he thinks and does business that he’s a super smart guy, for example, he created the SLS (Street League Skateboarding), which is an event that took professional skateboarding to another level. According to an article published by Forbes Magazine the SLS “attracts the sport’s top performers, it features impressive course designs, a large prize purse, and a tv contract with ESPN”.
So, you and I also have to admit that this guy is pretty impressive as an entrepreneur, I don’t know if you remember, but earlier I mentioned that he’s had big brand name sponsors like DC Shoes and Alien Workshop. Well, the Forbes article also said that he recently acquired DNA Distribution, and DNA Distribution is the holding company of Alien Workshop, so he now basically owns Alien Workshop as well. He also partnered with Nickelodeon and together they released a cartoon series called Wild Grinders.
Rob is involved in a lot of different things and has partnerships with a lot of different companies such as Bill My Parents, he created the iSX, Loud Mouth Burritos, he has his own TAG Body Spray called “Make Moves”, he recently partnered with Chevrolet, and has been on the creative end of MTV series “Rob and Big” and “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory”.
But, how much is Rob Dyrdek really worth? According to several online media outlets and magazines Rob has an estimated net worth of $15 million, however, after making our own calculations and taking into account his most recent work, salary and earnings, we have come to the conclusion that he might be a little bit richer than what most people think, we believe that Dyrdek has a total fortune of $22 million dollars approximately.
Forbes Magazine has not ranked Rob yet on their Richest Celebrities list, but if he keeps working this hard, there’s no doubt that he’ll make it there in no time.
