Camille LeBlanc-Bazinet

Camille LeBlanc-Bazinet Net Worth 2014 – 2015: $600 Thousand

Camille LeBlanc is CrossFit’s favorite sweetheart, last 27 of July the Canadian athlete proclaimed herself champion of the 2014 CrossFit Games for the first time in her career as a professional competitor. Her victory earned her $275,000 in prize money, not bad for a girl who likes to lift weights and do intense cardio for a living. As you probably already know, the CrossFit Games is an event held every year which purpose is to find the fittest man and woman on earth, this year it was Bazinet’s turn.

LeBlanc is only 25 years old, however, her youth has not been a problem up until now, in fact, I thought it actually helped her, because she was able to easily defeat the former two time CrossFit Games champion Annie Thorisdottir by a margin of more than 40 points, a big difference considering how competitive the sport is. Camille is the only Canadian athlete to ever win the CrossFit Games, and she is currently considered the fittest woman on earth.

Camille was always a very physical child, she loved sports since she was a young girl, reason why she took up gymnastics, soccer, skiing, voleyball, and rugby among several others while growing up. LeBlanc-Bazinet was also a weightlifting champion before getting her start in the sport of CrossFit, so it’s really no surprise that she has been able to do extremely well in competition and consistently rank among the top 10 female crossfitters in the world. She placed 9th in 2010, 8th in 2011, and 6th in 2012, which means that she’s been making a living off of CrossFit since 2010, because athletes who are able to place in the top 10 get monetary rewards for doing so.

LeBlanc has quickly become an important sports figure, everyone around the world knows who she is, and girls and women of all ages who practice the sport want to be just like her, that’s why she has been featured in several publications and covers of well known sports and fitness magazines. More recently she was named among the top 5 most influential athletes in her country, which is an honor that not every athlete is able to receive in their lifetime.

Camille has been so successful thanks to her hard work, discipline, and dedication, and it is worth noting that she has brains too, in fact, she is currently completing a major in engineering chemistry, and the best part is that she’s been able to combine her training with her studies and her marriage to Dave Lipson without any problems at all. There’s no doubt that the girl has a lot focus, that’s why we are almost absolutely sure that she will do a great job at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio where she will compete for the Canadian weightlifting team.
