Bow Wow

Bow Wow Net Worth 2014 – 2015: $12 Million

Shad Gregory “Bow Wow” Moss, formerly known as Lil’ Bow Wow is a rapper and actor who began his career in the entertainment industry when he was just eleven years old. However, he rose to prominence, gained recognition, and became wealthy at the age of 13 after releasing his first studio album titled “Beware of Dog”, which included the hit singles “Bounce With Me” and “Bow Wow (That’s My Name) featuring Snoop Dogg. The album was a total success, it sold more than 3 million copies according to Moss, and was certified double platinum by the RIAA allowing him to become an instant celebrity, and also a very rich young man in record time. I think that he had so much success back then because people were really impressed with hig age, I mean there he was, a young kid who could walk, dress, talk, and rap like a real grown up man, that formidable talent at such a young age simply blew people’s minds away!

I remember those days well, there weren’t many like him around at that time, in fact, he was one of the first kid rappers ever, along with the hip hop duo Kriss Kross which became famous after releasing their hit single “Jump” and Lil Wayne who made it into the spotlight after appearing on Juvenile’s hit video “Back That Azz Up”.

After the success of his first studio album “Beware of Dog”, Shad Gregory Moss released 5 more albums “Doggy Bag”, “Unleashed”, “Wanted”, “The Price of Fame”, and “New Jack City II”, and he recently announced that his seventh studio album titled “Underrated” will be released next year. Bow Wow is also a talented actor, he has appeared in many films such as “Roll Bounce”, “The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift”, “Hurricane Season”, “Lottery Ticket”, Tyler Perry‘s “Madeas Big Happy Family”, and “Fast & Furious 7” among several others.

Moss has also worked in television a lot, he has appeared in several popular shows such as “The Steve Harvey Show”, “Smallville”, “Ugly Betty”, “Entourage”, and he is currently hosting “106 & Park”, which according to several sources is BET’s number one rated show.

Bow Wow has earned his wealth rapping, acting, and hosting tv shows, and even though a lot of people say he’s broke because he only has $10,000 in the bank according to his child support documents, that’s not true. As I mentioned earlier Shad Moss is currently the host of “106 & Park” and he gets paid $200,000 every six months, so there’s no possibility at all that he’s broke. I mean, how could he out of all the people in the world be broke? He’s sold millions of albums, he has appeared in several hollywood films, and he hosts his own tv show, not to mention that he denied being broke several times in the past. Now you tell me, why would he deny something like that? There’s no shame in being poor.

But, how much is Bow Wow really worth? Well, according to several online media outlets and magazines he currently has an estimated net worth of $300 thousand, other sources claim that he’s worth somewhere around $15 million. However, after making our own calculations and taking into account all the available information about his career, salaries, and earnings, we have come to the conclusion that he has a total fortune of $12 million dollars approximately.

Forbes Magazine has not ranked Lil’ Bow Wow yet on their 100 Richest Celebrities list, and they haven’t included him on the Hip Hop Cash Kings list either.
